Over the last 12 months, the VR cinema in Amsterdam has welcomed more than 25,000 people through its doors. Starting out as a pop-up cinema which travelled around Europe, it settled in the heart of the dutch capital. Now, as the biggest VR cinema worldwide, it is seeking out the best in narrative and experiential VR to show to their audiences.

For €12.50, visitors get a choice of 4 different packages (Scary, Documentary, Kids and Sci-Fi) to choose from at the cinema, with Ctrl being selected as the Sci-Fi package. Our VR drama will be shown every half hour from 12:00 - 22:30 each week from Wednesday - Sunday. Ctrl will run for 4 months from March 1st until mid-June. All packages are shown using the Samsung GearVR headsets.

&Samhoud Media are the company behind this ground-breaking venture. Following the success of the cinema in Amsterdam, they are looking to launch similar cinemas in large cities around Europe and worldwide.
