Worldwide Release of Lucid on Viveport

We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Vive to bring our latest VR drama, Lucid, exclusively to Viveport on February 20th, 2019.

Following its premiere at the Venice 75th International Film Festival in 2018, we have been overwhelmed with the support and praise we have received from VR and film communities.

Lucid is a cinematic VR story of love, adventure and letting go. The viewer joins Astra as she

undertakes an experimental treatment that will allow her to enter her mother’s mind after she has been left in a coma following a terrible car accident. Her mother Eleanor is a renowned children’s author and illustrator. Astra’s presence makes Eleanor’s comatose mind spring to life transporting her to the magical world of her famous book series. As Astra explores treehouses in the sky, stunning ice fields and enchanted forests, she learns the disturbing truth behind her mother’s accident.

Lucid is a visually beautiful sci-fi drama, written by Islay Bell-Webb, which deals with an emotional and difficult topic. The experience was built from the ground-up in VR, pushing forward cinematic storytelling techniques.

Lucid will be available both as a subscription slot and as to download for £2.99 / $2.99

Lucid is compatible with Vive, Vive Pro and Oculus Rift headsets via the Viveport marketplace. We hope to bring Lucid to other VR marketplaces later in the year.
